I saw this in local paper today





I was waiting for the Yam T7, now I'm waiting for both.

Hopefully Honda have give in to the western world cries for a bigger rally bike.

A CR500 rally would be even more of a hoot to ride!


I think a slightly elder crf450 might be an option to convert if you aren't happy with suspension specs etc?

This depends what you want to do with it. I don't need mototway speeds as don't like main roads. I'm after a reliable, back Lane bimbler that can travel long distance when I need and do a bit of off roading. Fast bikes just hurt more when I fall off and who does more than 50 mph off road anyway. Cheap and looks the part, bit like me really.

Stephs crf 250L did 50,000 round the world with out one mechanical breakdown..... Suck it up Ktm

Off to Thailand in 2 weeks to try out the 250 'rally' bike and if I like it I might just buy one on my return, sod what everyone else thinks.

OMG! iv just wet myself.
Great engines, been a few rtw on CB500X but the raid conversion costs a lot.
hope its not to heavy
