All,
I've just fitted a Michelin AC10 to the rear of my XR having only really known Metzeler six days before now.
I've gone for the factory fit 110/80 rather than 140/80 I was previously on as I prefer more wiggle room in the ruts!
What would be a good front to match it with, that isn't the AC10 front as they're prone to front end wash outs apparently

Depends how aggressive you want to go, and how much road work you expect out of it. I always consider the old TKC80 a good compromise with an off road bias.
The Mefos look ok though.

If you only have one plug, it needs to be a good plug!

For all round use on my NX4, I run a TKC80, but for winter trail riding I run an AC10 or whatever is cheap like an old mx tyre!! I like the Mitas EO9 front and rear though, and it is a bit more off-roadable than the TKC80...

The AC10 is a fantastic rear!!! Well happy with it.
I used to use Michelin MX competition rear, but my stash has run out now.
I'll look at those Mitas thingys
