Re: The Safari 2013 ride and camp report 7 years, 1 month ago #6169

Top report TP and a big thank you for taking the reigns and organising this years Safari

Loads of smiles reading it, love it Trevor- Lion came over from the zoo to complain about the noise, there was me thinking that it wouldn't be long before the head zoo keeper paid DanH and Twintec a visit on Friday morning, would not have been surprised if he told them that their snoring was keeping all of the animals awake

Also some great photos there TP, I will have to remember to try Burst-Shoot next time. Really pleased you got some good ones of camp and social gatherings also. It was HM who suggested the group shot at the monument BTW I was inpecting the damage to my pannier frame at the time Small sacrifice to dirt god Trailus

Thanks also to DanH for leading one of the best trail rides I've been on and Twintec for checking them out with Dan the day before

It was great to see everyone and big up respect to Cabbage for making the 7 hour trip over in less favourable conditions

EC

P.S. I couldn't resist adding this at the end..

Awesome

Thanks mate,
I edited HM into the report after we spoke on the phone, I'm glad that you enjoyed the write up, it was fun recalling the weekend.
I'm very pleased that everyone had a good time, as it makes the whole thing worth while.

Isn't the Harrier still an awsome aircraft, such a pity that HMG have retired them.

Do try and make it on Sunday, as it should be a hoot.
THE END OF THE ROAD IS THE START OF THE FUN
