Looks like it's going to be a wet ride over today... Sods law after a 6 week drought that it'll break for my first trip away Should I pinch the pickup....

Hope to be there around 5 tonight. Just got to finish packing, it's amazing how everything gets scattered about, but once camping/riding season starts, everything is in one place and packs quickly and easily

No doubt there will be a full ride report elsewhere, but just to say I arrived back in a sunny Shropshire, with a sore butt, at just gone 3pm. Bloody windy but dry all the way and no issues (thank goodness) with the rear tyre

A magnificent ride out thank you Dan. Door to Door, I did just over 900km this weekend on the tiddler, running like a Swiss watch all day. If only she had Ben's XR400 suspension... She was struggling on the M54 into a fair old gale, but sat at 70 @6k RPM.

Thanks again to Ben, Dan and Tom for organising the weekend, and Ferdie for the superb Barbie (and Sat lunch stop!) Good company and grand craic.

Echo all that here Steve. I arrived home at 2.45, dry but windy, after about 700km over the weekend.
Thanks to all who came, a great laugh and a good mix of folks and bikes.
If you only have one plug, it needs to be a good plug!
July 14 - still true, but now have two plugs!

It was a fantastic event thanks to all those who made it. And a huge thanks to all who donated to Macmillan for stickers, we raised £40 in all, so worthwhile

I will begin a photos and write ups thread, if you'd all be so kind as to contribute.

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you're gonna be up again. But life goes on.

Did you manage to seat the TTR rear tyre properly on the Sunday before your run home?

We got home OK. It seated its self. New tyres due to be fitted ASAP thanks to top boy Ben getting them off the stricken drz

Good stuff I/ve seen this before where a tyre will settle down and seat.

When fitting at home, I max out on pressure, check seating and if not right, deflate to about 5psi, then chuck the wheel and tyre in the air spinning it so that it lands on the bad area vertically, do this a few times, then reinflate and it's usually OK then

Seems this Safari are inner tubes and or tyres!

I got a slow puncture! Probably would be worse if I didn't have slime in though - still, I can then flip the tyre to wear the knobbles evenly while I'm at it. And just ordered a new AC10 for thenrear. Should Ben interesting trying one of them

Which reminds me, I haven't put any Ultraseal gloop in the new rear tube, must do that tomorrow... Then out again on Thursday, all being well.

Same applies here, to all. We must meet up more often, doesn't have to be only camps we ride together!
