What a great day.

We met up in March town- Ferdie, Fern and myself and headed over to meet Vinny123 in Chatteris in another XR!

A really lovely guy, welcome to the forum mate!

We spent the day riding the lanes of Cambs and stopped for a spot of lunch in Ely, which was great! Huge thanks to our hostess, Fern for that.

Overall, probably around 80 miles covered together, I the. Went on to do at least another 40!

We MUST do a Cambs camp, it's too good not to.

Yes great day! Thanks for setting it up ben. We really should do a Cambs lane weekend as it's a welcome change from Thetford and pedders. I'm going to head that way myself lots in future.
Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you're gonna be up again. But life goes on.

No worries!

Just a air filter tip: I use petrol to clean mine, much quicker and easier and no oil this time of year.

It's something some Motocross friends told me. Makes sense thinking about it, the oil is sticky and the dirt and dust sticks to it and clogs it all up.

There's also a little power to be gained on the XR's filter cage, but that's another thread
