Hi All
Im planning to take a few days away to the Peak District. Probably camping but possibly B&B . Has anyone been to the Peaks and found some interesting places to visit or camp sites that they could recommend ?.
Thanks

+1 for Matlock Bath, BUT BEWARE OF THE FUZZ I understand that they are hammering bikes over there, but as a great bike destination with decent food and pubs it's A1

Another place of biking nirvana and not too far away is the CAT and Fiddle proper high twisty roads, but again BEWARE OF THE FUZZ
With armco to ground level you know you're gonna have fun, but Police have unmarked everything apart from their undercrackers, + Bear in the air, and hi mast camera set ups, Oh and don't get goaded into a race as it'll probably turn out to be Police,( not experienced it but heard from a couple of independent locals.

Just one more thing.... enjoy yourself and take lots of pic's.
THE END OF THE ROAD IS THE START OF THE FUN

The road to the Cat & Fiddle had average speed cameras on it when I went through in September; 50mph IIRC... I'm all for safety but it kinda takes the fun out of it .

The Cat and fiddle and Matlock Bath sound top spots. Ill keep an eye open for the Peelers.
I intend to take in some sights as well and deffo taking in the A57 Snake pass to Lady Bower reservoir and on to Glossop.
Ive not set any route in stone so am happy to bimble out on a daily basis.
Any other places of interest ,please let me know.
Cheers
